A New Life Given

We have had an unbelievable week of blessing and sadness. On March 18, 2008 at 11:06 a.m.Mckenna Rees Vavra made her arrival into this world at 6#13oz and 19 1/2 inches. She is beautiful and perfect and a true miracle of our wonderful creator. I had the priviledge of being present at the birth and witnessing her first breath.

On Friday, March 21, 2008, Russell Campbell Younkins passed out of this world and entered into eternity with his glorious new body. Len had come home from California to see Mckenna and was able to see his dad before he was admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning since his mom could not care for him any longer. Since he did not want to go to a nursing home, our compassionate heavenly Father took him Home to rest on Friday morning. We will all miss him here.

A Visit with Kenzi and Kendall

I was visiting my daughter Lyndsay today and we decided to set up a blog! I thought this would be a great place to post pics of my cutie granddaughters (and grandchild yet to come!) Since I am off work on Tuesdays, I went out to visit and spend time with the girls for the day! Makenzie and Kendall loved going through my purse and putting on makeup and lotion! We also read books and played!
